Many kilometers in one day, but it was worth it. We met at the parking lot of the Decathlon of Santo Stefano Magra and from there on the highway to Massa where we headed towards the Passo del Cipollaio that the friends had never done!

Looking for the “zuppa inglese”

We meet at the usual roundabout of the Commercial Center of Le Terrazze with Giovanni, Ubaldo and Franco and then we reach Gianluigi at the Decathlon car park and then off towards the Cerreto Pass with a coffee stop and the return home of Franco. We continue and arrived at the Pietra di Bismantova we do not miss anything, not even the Zuppa Inglese.

Return to the road back through the Lagastrello where we divide, Ubaldo and Giovanni descend towards Spezia, Gianluigi and I continue to Monchio delle Corti to go back to the Passo del Cirone, from there we descend to Pontremoli where we take the motorway return.

I met my cousin!

For a long time I did not make one of my solo trip, I needed it! After a decade I finally met my cousin Adalberto, a person to whom I am very attached and who has an important place in my life.

I made the Lagastrello Pass and came to Bismantova Stone just in time to eat a good British soup, then I reached my cousin Busana in the shed where she holds his Chicco horse, white like my BMW Steel Horse. We told ourselves a little bit of life and then after a strong hugging away, towards the return.

At the Cerreto Pass I found rain and then fog, descending I found myself to be a capocordata for a group of motorcyclists up to almost Fivizzano, then fast at home.

The Wild Chicken Five at the Arcana Cross Pass! – gpx Passo della Croce Arcana

An intense day, in the evening a sea of kilometers made.
We met as usual in the Decathlon car park at Santo Stefano Magra and them whe took the motorway to Lucca. After a good coffee we went to Doganaccia, the almost ski resort near the Arcana Cross Passage, but on the way we made a detour to visit an ancient medieval town: Lucchio, perched on the mountain overlooking the valley of Lima Creek border between the province of Lucca and that of Pistoia so bent on the steep rocky wall that is practically unavailable until it is reached below. However, in the end we did not visit it, a bit because we are lazy and somehow it was very hot and we had little time available. We walked out of the state road of Abetone and climbed to Cutigliano and went on to Doganaccia where we had lunch. Immediately after the reopening began the dirt road with which we reached the summit at 1669 m s.l.m. after a short stroll to admire the landscape we started descending on the slope towards Fanano.
